EUWENA at Critical Communications World

EUWENA at Critical Communications World

Annually, the TCCA (The Critical Communications Association, formerly Tetra Association) holds its global congress and exhibition. The previous editions in Vienna and Helsinki were attended by EUWENA.

This year’s event in May in Dubai, EUWENA will be at the partner village and will host a session to support TCCA in its endeavour to expand the realm of the CCW from public safety to industry verticals. Public safety (‘PPDR’) is the historic scope of the CCW’s but over the years the attention has also gone towards enterprises with critical wireless networks. EUWENA contributes to the program with more of these enterprise aspects and cases.

Thursday 16th at midday, EUWENA will be chairing a session on private wireless in Mainports: https://www.critical-communications-world.com/conference

The session will zoom in on the remit of EUWENA, the purpose of private cellular networks, the merits of private networks in the designated vertical Mainports. Then the session will feature some real live deployments of private wireless in mainports:

-        Port of Bristol’s deployment by EUWENA member Airspan

-        Multiple airport cases of private 4/5G by EUWENA member Druid

-        A large port case by a potential member of EUWENA led ‘mainports’ programme

The ¾ hr session will thus provide a comprehensive view on private networks in ports and airports !

Members attending CCW can off course follow; the exhibition is for free, the congress requires registration. Through our media we will, off course inform members and relations of the conduct of the program.
